For teams

jCodeMunch for teams

Every developer on your team can use jCodeMunch independently: indexing, searching, the whole works. The team feature is org-rollup, one dashboard that totals what every seat saved, so whoever approves the spending can see the numbers.

Try org-rollup for 14 days, no key needed

Pick an org id. Each developer runs jcodemunch-mcp org-report to send their savings to your org host, and the org host runs jcodemunch-mcp org-rollup to see the whole team. The 14 days start the first time someone runs the org-wide rollup without a Studio or Platform license, and the clock is kept on the machine that runs it.

Every other tool keeps working the whole time, during the 14 days and after.

Keep it, or don’t

When the trial ends, org-rollup stops and sends you to pricing. Buy Studio (up to 5 developers, $349 one time, or $449 with jDocMunch and jDataMunch) or Platform (org-wide, $1,999, or $2,499 for all three) to keep it. Or don’t. Everything else keeps working as before.

Every license includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the terms. Builder users need to upgrade to Studio or Platform for org-rollup.

What it sends, and to whom

During the 14-day evaluation, with no license key set, jCodeMunch sends nothing anywhere: the evaluation clock is kept on your own machine. When you add a license key, jCodeMunch checks it with our license server by sending two things, the product name and the key itself, in the body of an HTTPS request. It re-checks at most once every 7 days, and a valid key keeps working if the server can’t be reached.

Seat reports never leave your organization: each developer’s machine sends its savings figures to your own org host, or keeps them on that machine, and no seat report reaches any jMunch server.

Separately, every jCodeMunch install has the anonymous community savings counter, on by default: a random ID and aggregate token counts, no code, no paths, no personal data. Switch it off with share_savings: false. It has nothing to do with the evaluation.
